Benji's Journey to His Forever Home

Meet Benji, the lovable Westie with a heart full of loyalty, whose journey to a forever home was made possible by Lola's Trust. After his original owner couldn't return from the hospital, Benji was cared for by a temporary owner who adored him but wanted to ensure he found a one-person home where he could thrive. That’s when Lola's Trust stepped in to help find Benji his perfect match.

While awaiting his forever family, Benji stayed with our team member, Ben, at his welcoming home, complete with two friendly Cockapoos, Lola and Koko, who kept him company along the way. Benji’s charm shone through as he quickly became a devoted companion, always following his person, looking sad when they left, and bursting with excitement upon their return. With his full medical history and vaccinations, Benji was ready for a family of his own.

Then Mary came along, captivated by his story and willing to drive nine hours to meet him. Now renamed McBenji, he’s enjoying his forever home in Scotland, complete with a large garden, long walks, and his new best friend, Stanley. Thanks to Lola's Trust, Ben, and the wonderful support team, McBenji is now living his best life, filled with love, naps, and adventure! Here’s to a joyful happily ever after!
